Hi babydolls! :* It's review time again! ;) I know I may have already shared with you some of my remedies in battling acne and may have suggested (for the nth time) these particular babies for your perusal and disposition. But, here I am again sharing with you a thorough review re: my updated skincare routine for the past month.
MORNING ROUTINE
I always make sure to wash my face first in the morning with my ever reliable Tritone Soap from @meshaorganics Been using it for a month and I could say that it was able to maintain my initially pimple free skin (c/o MySkin). Although I may get few small pimples around my face, they would simply just go away. Actually, I never experienced any CYSTIC acne during the entire month of use of this soap. This is the reason why I still wasn't able to use their Acne-Dote Gel haha! It's been here for quite a while now. I also didn't experienced any pain, purging, redness nor sting with Tritone! Gahhhh! Plus points for me! I would have cried and rant if it's the other way around. Lol! :)) This soap reminded me of mild gum and berries every time I use it. I would always feel fresh and that "banat feels" right after. Others would say that it is not a good "feeling" after wash as it MIGHT have stripped off your natural oil or moisture, hence; le pimplez. Luckily, I didn't experience it anyway :*
After washing my face, as I would always say, I pat my skin dry with tissue and tone my face with Glycolic Toner. This is my fave maintenance from my derma. It has this fresh & minty after feel and it reminded me of water as I apply it on my face. I never thought that it would be this mild and my face never felt irritated, red nor burnt. Been thinking of other organic alternatives for my toner but meantime, I think, I'd settle for this one first. Lastly, I would apply my derma prescribed Shadow SPF for sun protection on normal days. But if I have a special meeting, I would use Mesha Cream for that flawless look :*
EVENING ROUTINE
My day wouldn't be complete without ending it with a night beauty routine. I guess, this is the part of the day where majority of us forget to do so. We should be more mindful that a fresh, clean, toned and moisturized face before sleep is CRUCIAL. This is to prevent any nasty breakout and other facial nightmares! So again, I'd start off by washing my face with Tritone Soap. However, if I have worn makeup the whole day, I'd remove it using Happy Skin's water based makeup remover. It is my first love ever! Why? Because it doesn't have any harmful ingredients in it. Plus! It is water based as well, but strong enough to remove oil, makeup and dirt!
After washing my face, I'd exfoliate with @magnifiqueskincareph's Cocoon Scrub combined with a good lather of Tritone Soap. Subsequently, I would wash off my face with warm water. This is to prepare my skin with the nutrients I'll feed it with. I would then tone my face (Glycolic Toner) to ready my skin with Vitamin C goodness! My fave C20 from @frombusantocebu is my nightly hero for redness and pimple marks. I'd usually pat it on (not glide nor spread) using my fingertips and let my skin thoroughly absorb it. It is sticky and I sometimes experience SLIGHT sting on small pimples. Nonetheless, it was very tolerable! Mas masakit pa kagat ng langgam eh! Haha!
My pimple marks incredibly lightened compared before and I would always wake up with a bright face! However, stubborn as I am, they are still there :( I guess I need to use it more often alongside with "derma rolling" just like what my Doc J has advised. Woohoot! Excited much here!!
