Hi there
beautiful earthlings! :) Today, I am going to make a review about a product
sent to me last February. I had been using it for quite a while and all my
personal thoughts will be tabulated below. This is my first time publishing a
blog post, so please bear with me :P
So, here is the actual photo of the product:
(This one's different compared to those recently released for purchase, because the actual containers were still not
available back then.)

hydration and moisturization.
- Nourishes and
protects from environmental pollutants.
- Intensely
whitens and brightens.

feeling softer, smoother, and more supple.

stretchmarks, wound scars, insect bite scars, and severe uneven skintone.

concentrating on affected areas.

use sunblock during day time!
INGREDIENTS (ACTIVES):
- Aloe Vera
- Shea Butter
- Deoxyarbutin
- Kojic Acid
- Neem Oil
- Vitamin A Acid
- Argan Oil
PRICE:
Php
660.00
AVAILABILITY:
Unfortunately, this body
creme is not yet available in malls but you can always purchase it online (over
Instagram) at @satinpayaklikas
PACKAGING:
The
packaging comes in a very simple container. Very clean looking. The stickers were a bit of a downer here since it is only printed on a paper. I understand
that this is merely a sample subject to the grounds for testing, but I guess
it would work best if these were printed over waterproof and shiny stickies. I
still love the gray or black and white motif though! :) It really lives up to
it's brand name, "Payak" which translates to "Simple" in
English.
FRAGRANCE:
At first,
I thought this body creme has a hint of ammonia scent in it. I was
bothered by the smell so I politely asked the owner about it. She said that
they have chosen "Sweet Pea" as its fragrance so ladies, there is nothing to worry about this product. This body creme is certainly safe for you
:)
As soon as I got the hang of it, I then started to notice that this body creme is a sweet skinfood! The scent reminded me of fruity yogurt every time I apply it on my skin.
Now, let
us move on to my PERSONAL EXPERIENCES, shall we? :)
Before using Satin's
body creme, I have noted that there were few dry patches on my left leg. This
was caused by the whitening soap I was using back then :/ Here is my before photo taken last February of this year:
Under perfect timing, Satin came across and became a part of my nightly beauty routine :) As advised, I only apply
it onto my skin every night. It is not greasy and dries up in few minutes. The
consistency is of course, in a creamy texture which looks like this:
And when
you spread it out, it doesn't leave your skin with that white cast effect! :D Let us take a closer look:
True to its claims, this can definitely leave your skin feeling smooth, soft, and supple! Why? Because this whip body creme contains very moisturizing ingredients like Aloe Vera, Shea Butter and Argan Oil to combat skin dryness. This is actually a great skin weapon to use since it targets two things - whitening and moisture. No need to worry about those dry flaky skin >_<
I religiously used it every night concentrating on areas I wish to lighten. In this case, I have decided do a spot on topical application over some dry patches (please refer to above photo). Within two weeks time, the area seemed to lighten up a bit. However, I am still not satisfied with the results so I continued to use it. By the 4th week, I noticed that my skin looked better then. It doesn't seem to be irritated nor dry, red patches were gone, no more visible bumps. However, the shadowy shade/marks left by the incident/irritation were still there. It needed more love and nourishing from this creme.
I gave myself a second chance to try this baby and since this is uberly tipid, I still have some spare creme to use :) As few more weeks passed by, say 6 weeks, the affected area lightened up to another shade. Unfortunately, they are still there :( I don't know why nor what had happened but it seems like nothing could ever get rid of these pesky scars!
This is my "after" photo by the way:
I don't know if you could see it but if you look closely, there is a spot where the shade is a bit darker.

To summarize this review, let us go back to their claims and compare it with my two-month experience:

PRODUCT CLAIMS VS. RESULTS:
- Provides intense hydration and moisturization.
- Yes, it was able to stabilize skin dryness within 1st use.
- My skin did not get flaky, it was at least ALMOST INVISIBLE.
- Nourishes and protects from environmental pollutants.
- As I have said, yes my skin then felt moisturized. But for best results, I guess this body creme needs to have a partner for daytime use. I still get FEW dry patches the following day, but it wouldn't be itchy nor overly dry :)
- Intensely whitens and brightens.
- Not that much. My marks are still there. However, I still do commend it for lightening up my marks into two shades. I guess, with continued use, all my marks would disappear.
- Leaves skin feeling softer, smoother, and more supple.
- Yep! That's true! :) This is actually my favorite part of my experience. I loved how I could smoothly glide my hands over it. I am just not sure if this can aid on severely dry, irritated skin.
- Deal with stretchmarks, wound scars, insect bite scars, and severe uneven skintone.
- Stretchmarks? I haven't tried it since my goal was to eliminate some dry patches and lighten up those uneven skintone.
- Wound scars? I actually never had wound scars back then.
- Insect bites? I tried it once and it actually helped speed up itch healing. Plus, it never left unsightly marks after.
FINAL VERDICT:
Okay so overall, this Whip Body Creme Ultrawhitening by @satinpayaklikas is a good deal. It is very rich with moisturizing ingredients, so you need not to worry about getting dry patches while wanting whiter skin. Whitening wise, this can at least help you push up your shade to another level. Just be patient though, if you wanted to achieve a flawless skin, you might want to consider lengthening your time frame for this body creme.
The only thing I am concerned about this product is it's price. It may be costly for first time users since it retails at 660 pesos. Students might back off from purchasing. But when you come to think of it, with proper/tipid use, it's like buying half of the creme for 330 in a month, and another for 330. This simply crushes your inhibitions since you don't have to pay for another shipping fee for the other month.
So there, I hope my review was able to enlighten you with this type of product. If you wish to purchase this, simply contact @satinpayaklikas for orders. Thank you loves! :*
